We are excited to be landing in Geelong for the 2027 school year!

Centrally located in Geelong's CBD, Hester Hornbrook Academy's newest campus will bring healing oriented, fee free, flexible learning to young people 15-25 in the Greater Geelong region.

We will offer a full time onsite wellbeing and learning program, as well as a Hybrid education model where students learn 2 days online and 3 days on campus.

Geelong campus will enable students across the region to unlock their full potential and thrive in their education and personal wellbeing. We achieve this by attributing equal importance to both wellbeing and learning, helping our students achieve individual academic success.

Our classrooms are not like traditional classrooms

We offer high quality learning programs to meet individual student's needs. Applied learning principles inform all our classroom curriculum offerings:

Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) and VCE Vocational Major (VM)
Hybrid program 2 days online learning and 3 days on campus.
We also provide a variety of VETDSS courses to cater to young people's interests and vocational pathways.
Geelong Campus will also offer a Parent Friendly classroom and
Engage Youth Program. The Engage Youth Program has a modified timetable of two days onsite learning, plus outreach and case management available, including education and wellbeing support for young people that are not quite ready to engage fulltime.

Our flexible learning options give students the chance to:

Develop their literacy and numeracy skills
Complete a secondary school certificate
Gain practical project-based skills
Pursue their own individual learning goals
Take charge of their future
