As a school, NAIDOC falls in our term break. To celebrate, this week Hester Hornbrook Academy created installations and held activities across campuses. We will also kick start term 3 with more NAIDOC celebrations.
The Bridges to Learning community sector education forum 2025 led by VCOSS and the Department of Education opened with a vox pop video of our incredibly capable and resilient Hester students who shared their experiences of school.

At Hester Hornbrook Academy we acknowledge the Bunurong and Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we teach, learn and work. We have a deep appreciation for the sacrifices and ongoing resistance of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong peoples. We acknowledge that we all continue to benefit from their protection of culture, land and waterways. We live on unceded Land. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
